DU Admissions 2012 Application Forms & Cut Off List

The process of admissions for the session 2012-13 in various undergraduate courses being offered by different colleges affiliated to the University of  Delhi (DU) has been kicked off  with the issue of notification in this regard by DU on May 15, 2012. DU has made arrangement for submission of Common Pre-admission forms in physical form as well as through online mode. The candidates may kindly note that online registration facility is available for the candidates of General and OBC catagories only. DU Common Pre-admission forms are available from 04.06.2012 till 18.06.2012. The last date for submission of admission forms  (OMR) is June 18, 2012 and the online registration process will also close at 5.00 P.M. (1700 Hours) on June 18, 2012. The admission forms can be obtained from any of the 12 designated Head Post offices and 10 specified Colleges. The list of such post offices and colleges is available on DU website. SC/ST candidates are required to register themselves between 04.06.2012 and 18.06.2012 from 9.30 am to 2.00 pm at four Centres (i.e. Arts Faculty (North Campus), South Campus, Rajdhani College and Shyam Lal College). Physical Handicaped candidates shall be registered at the office of Dean, Students Welfare from June 4, 2012 to June 18, 2012. 

University of Delhi has a coveted status and attracts students from across the country for admission in the courses offered by the colleges affiliated to DU. Lacs of aspiring students apply for admission in DU colleges because of the premier status DU enjoys among the educational institutions in India. After the rigmarole of submission of application forms is over, the real thing will be the admission / cut off lists which will be conveyed by the colleges to DU for different courses. After receipt of cut off marks from the colleges, DU shall collate and notify the same on its website - www.du.nic.in. The first cut off list will be announced by DU on 26.09.2012. The time of admission in case of morning colleges is 10.00 A.M. to 1.00 P.M. and in case of evening colleges is 4.00 P.M. to 7.00 P.M. It is true that every candidate can not get admission in the college or course of his/ her choice considering the limited number of seats and huge number of aspirants. But don't loose heart as this is not the end of the road. A good college or University though acts as a launching pad in the career but hard work always pay in the long run. Even the people from small places who pursue their studies from not very famous institutions also make big in career and life. So keep your motivation level high at all times.
