UP BTC Admissions 2012 - 2013 (Notification & Application Form)

The admissions in BTC (Basic Teaching Certificate) course offered by various institutions in Uttar Pradesh is regulated by State Council of educational Research & Training, Uttar Pradesh (SCERT UP). SCERT issues  notification every year for admission in UP BTC Course. The applications for UP BTC Admissions are handled through District Education & Training Institutes (DIET). Considering the past trend, the notification (vigyapti) for BTC admissions in UP is issued in the month of September and the UP BTC Application process starts thereafter. The educational qualification prescribed for admission in UP BTC is graduate (i.e. B.A, B.Sc. or B.Com.) with minimum 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, Physically Handicapped, Ex-defence personnel (self) and dependents of Freedom Fighters categories). UP BTC Merit List is prepared based on the marks obtained by the students in High School, Intermediate and Graduation Exams.The candidates can apply for admission in the institutions of their own district (Janpad) only. Last year, UP BTC Admission Application Forms were required  to be submitted in physical form through DIETs and UP BTC admission counseling was regulated by District Level Selection Committee. UP BTC Application Form proforma was uploaded on SCERT website.

The notification for admission in UP BTC Course 2012-13 is expected to be issued by SCERT, UP soon. The UP BTC Application Forms 2012 will be made available thereafter. The procedure of UP BTC Admissions 2012 and other relevant information like eligibility criteria, selection criteria, application fee, process of finalisation of UP BTC Merit List 2012, last date for submission of BTC Application Forms and other requisite information regarding UP BTC Admissions 2012-2013 will be given in the notification to be issued by SCERT, UP. UPDATE
UP BTC admission process for the session 2012-13 has started and necessary notification has been issued to this effect. Registration for UP BTC admission application form can be done online  on or before 01.11.2012. Last date for payment of UP BTC application fee is 06.11.2012 and the last date for filling up  the UP BTC online application form is 11.11.2012. The challan for payment of application fee can be printed online.
