The first ever Problem Solving Assessment (PSA) Test for Class IX and XI was conducted as per the test papers provided by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in the month of February 2014 and PSA result is expected soon. The basic purpose behind PSA test was to improve generic and higher order thinking skills of the students of Class IX and XI who are studying in schools affiliated to CBSE. PSA Exam 2014 for Class IX contained three sections i.e. Section A - Language Conventions Section B - Qualitative Reasoning and Section C - Quantitative Reasoning. The question paper for Class IX and XI PSA Exam 2014 was provided by CBSE. It was mandatory for all students of Class IX and Class XI for the session 2013-14 to appear in PSA. The test contained Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). Some of the questions were passage based MCQs whereas others were standalone MCQs.
PSA Test 2014 result is likely to be announced soon and the result of PSA Exam 2014 is likely to be available online on CBSE portal i.e. www.cbse.nic.in and the students of Class IX and XI who have appeared in PSA Test 2014 may check their PSA Exam result once it is announced after completion of evaluation of OMR Answer Sheets of CBSE PSA Exam 2014.
