RPET 2012 @ / Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test Online Application

Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan, has issued notification for Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test - 2012 (RPET 2012) on March 14, 2012 for the session 2012-2013. Candidates who are domicile of Rajasthan (including the wards of Kashmiri Migrants) can apply online for appearing in RPET 2012  for admission to first year undergraduate courses in Engineering (B.Tech. / B.E.) in various Government aided and many Private unaided technical institutions in Rajasthan. 
 Eligibility Criteria:
The candidates who have passed Class 12th (10+2) examination of Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan or any other equivalent examination recognized by Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan or Central Board of Secondary Education with minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST/ Non Creamy Layer OBC/ Non  Creamy Layer SBC candidates of Rajasthan) in the subjects combination given below are eligible to appear in RPET 2012:
Compulsory Subjects 
Any one of the Optional Subjects
Physics &
(1) Chemistry   (2) Bio-technology    
(3) Computer Science  (4) Biology
The candidates who are appearing in class XII examination being conducted in the year 2012 may also apply for RPET 2012. However, they have to pass such examination with minimum marks in the subject combination as per details given above.
 Examination Pattern:
The duration of RPET 2012 examination will be three hours. There will be one question paper containing 120 objective type questions (40 questions of each of the three subjects namely; Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) and each question will carry one mark. There will be no negative marking and the questions will be in Hindi and English.

The hard copy of complete application form along with fee challan and requisite documents must reach at the address given below latest by 5.00 P.M. on April 16, 2012 irrespective of the fact whether April 16, 2012 is a working day or not.
