GATE 2013 Online Application Form & Syllabus

The online application process for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2013 (Commonly known as GATE 2013) has commenced on 01.09.2012 and the last date for submission of GATE online application form  2013 is 30.09.2012 (upto 23.00 Hours). The GATE 2013 applications forms can be submitted through online mode only. The printed version of the GATE 2013 online application should reach the respective zonal office of GATE on or before 08.10.2012. The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT Delhi, Bombay, Madras, Roorkee, Guwahati, Kanpur & Kharagpur) jointly conduct GATE and the GATE Score is used by the higher education institutes with financial assistance provided by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India and other Government agencies for admission in PG programmes such as M.E., M.Tech, direct Ph.D.

The GATE 2013 will be conducted through Online and Offline mode. The choice of exam paper by the candidate will determine the type of examination (online/offline), date of examination and choice of available cities. The GATE 2013 for paper code AR, CE, GG, MA, MT, PH and TF will be conducted through Online mode on 20.01.2013 (from 9.00 hours to 12.00 hours) whereas GATE 2013 for paper code AE,  AG, BT, CH, CY, MN,  XE and XL will be conducted through Online mode on 20.01.2013 (from 14.00 hours to 17.00 hours). On the other hand, GATE 2013 offline examination will be conducted on 10.02.2013 for paper code CS, ME and PI (from 9.00 hours to 12.00 hours) and for paper code EC, EE and IN (from 14.00 hours to 17.00 hours). GATE 2013 Admit Card / Hall Ticket will be made available online on 05.12.2012 and the candidates will be able to download admit card of GATE 2013 thereafter. GATE 2013 result will be declared on 15.03.2013 at 10.00 hours and the candidates can check the result of GATE 2013 thereafter.
