University Grants Commission (UGC) organises National Eligibility Test on all India basis for grant of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and to ascertain eligibility for appointment as Lecturer. The huge number of candidates who aspire to be Lecturer and Junior Research Fellow in universities and colleges across the country appear in UGC NET. The candidates who qualify UGC NET for Lectureship are eligible for appointment of lecturer throughout the country.

The latest UGC NET was conducted in June 2012 and the answer key for such test / exam was released later on. UGC NET 2012 result (JRF & Lectureship) has been declared on 18.09.2012. The result is available at and the same is uploaded in pdf form. It may please be noted that the result is not provided in usual form where candidates enter their roll no. to check their result. The result of UGC NET June 2012 exam is uploaded in the pdf form and the roll nos. of the candidates who have provisionally qualified UGC NET JUNE 2012 (JRF & Lectureship) are given in such pdf file. Considering the huge size of the UGC NET result list, the candidates may use the CTRL+F feature for searching their roll no. in the list. For this purpose, a candidate may press CTRL and F keys on the computer key board simultaneously which will result into display of a search box on the screen. The candidate may enter his/ her roll no. in such search box to reach directly to his/ her roll no. in the result list, if he/ she has qualified UGC NET June 2012.
