NOU B.Ed. Admissions 2013 Application / Merit List

Nalanda Open University, Bihar (NOU) has issued notification for admission in the B.Ed. course for total 500 seats for the session 2013-2015. As far as eligibility for admission in the B.ed. programme / course of Nalanda University is concerned, the candidates should have atleast two years' teaching experience on paid basis as on 31.05.2013 in a primary/ middle/ secondary/ higher secondary school recognized by Central or State Government or semi government institution. Teaching experience gained in Inter classes will not be counted for this purpose. The candidates who are appointed as physical education teacher/ instructor or computer or music teacher are not eligible for admission in B.Ed. course. Apart from the above, the candidate should have passed graduation examination of a recognised university with atleast 45% marks. The application form can be obtained by submitting a non refundable demand draft of Rs. 100 in favour of Nalanda Open University at Main office of NOU at Patna or at any study centre of Nalanda University from 17/10/2013 to 16/11/2013. The application form completed in all respects alongwith attested copies of requisite certificates/documents and non refundable demand draft of Rs. 400/- (Rs. 450 in case of application form downloaded from NOU website) in favour of Nalanda Open University should be deposited in the Head Office of the University at Patna on or before 16/11/2013. Kindly note that the completed application forms will not be accepted at the Study Centres of Nalanda Open University. The application forms sent by post should reach NOU Head Office by 16/11/2013. 

Two stage selection process would of followed by NOU for admission in B.Ed. course. 2500 candidates (i.e. 5 times of the total available seats) will be selected in the 1st stage on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the examinations starting from matric to post graduation level. Marks will be given for each examination in the following manner:

NOU 1st stage B.Ed. Admission merit list will be prepared on the basis of the total marks allocated to each candidate as per the prescribed system given above. The first 2500 candidates in the aforesaid merit list will be eligible for the NOU B.Ed. Written test / exam 2013 which is scheduled to take place on 12.01.2014. The admission of the candidates in the B.Ed. course will be based on the  marks obtained in the NOU B.Ed. Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board Raipur had earlier issued notifications seeking online applications for 11 entrance examinations proposed to be conducted for admissions in various courses for the academic year 2020-21. The CG entrance examinations proposed to be conducted by CGVYAPAM were - CG PET, PPHT, PPT, Pre MCA, Pre B.ED., Pre D.El. ED., B.A. B.Ed./ B.Sc. B.Ed., B.Sc. Nursing, M.Sc. Nursing, Post Basic Nursing and PAT. Considering the disruptions caused by COVID 19 pandemic, all these examinations / entrance tests were cancelled till further orders.
